Enabling Live Translation

Live translation lets two people talk in different languages, with each translation on screen as they speak.

How to Start

Go to the Transcribe tab

Choose "Translate Conversation"

Pick a language for Speaker 1 (you) and Speaker 2 (the other person). The swap button flips them.

Optional: turn on Auto-speak to hear each translation read aloud

Start the session. MeetingsAI listens to Speaker 1 first.

When the other person answers, tap "Switch to" their language

Each line appears as a card: the original text, with the translation under it

In Cloud Mode, a card appears as soon as a phrase ends

In Private Mode, it appears when you pause, switch speakers, or tap Done

To fix a word, edit the original line and tap Translate again

Tap "End and Summarise Session". MeetingsAI saves the conversation as a meeting, with the transcript in both languages, an AI summary, and AI chat.

Pick the exact language each person speaks; the app does not detect it
