How it works

    Open the side panel

    Click the MeetingsAI icon while you're on a meeting tab. The panel opens next to the call and detects the platform.

    Hit record

    Allow microphone access once, then capture the meeting audio and your voice together. A timer runs in the panel.

    Open the app

    Uploading, transcribing, summarizing, synced. The meeting is waiting in MeetingsAI the next time you open it.

Before you install

  • Needs Chrome 116 or newer, and a free MeetingsAI account (the same one you use on your phone).
  • Records the web versions of Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams. For the Zoom and Teams desktop apps, record with the mobile app instead — it picks up audio playing on your computer.
  • Browser recordings are transcribed in the cloud. On-device Private Mode is a mobile app feature.
  • Recording laws vary by region. Let the other people on the call know you're recording.
