Setting Up Private Mode

Follow these steps to enable Private Mode in MeetingsAI.

Prerequisites

Before enabling Private Mode, ensure:

You have the latest version of MeetingsAI

You have free space for an on-device model (about 258 MB to 2.5 GB), or an Apple Intelligence iPhone or iPad on iOS 26 or later

For translation, you are online the first time you use a language, so its language pack can download

Open MeetingsAI

Go to Settings tab

Find "Private Mode"

Toggle it on

Confirm your choice

The first time you use Private Mode, the app may need to:

Download on-device AI models

Configure local processing

This may take a few minutes

You can switch between Private Mode and Cloud Mode at any time in Settings. Each mode's recordings are clearly labeled.
